As parents, we are the number one influencer in children’s sexuality, so it’s crucial to learn how to talk about it without shame and with openness. This workshop will help guide you in that process and will provide you with many resources to be successful. Parenting is hard work and we need each other to help one another out. It has been shown when we start talking about sexuality early, then our conversations become easier and normalized. We create an environment for our children to feel like they are cared for and can talk with their parents about the “hard stuff”.
This workshop will provide you with the reasons to start these conversations early and show you everything from the vastness of sexuality to how we can have conversations every day. A lot of sexuality includes emotional wellness, body autonomy, and agency. We will learn how to help our kids foster these. This workshop is geared to parents of infants through 1st grade.
